About Me

I’m Tracy, creator and editor of Parties and Pearls. I’m a 27 year old Jersey girl with too many hobbies- If I’m not DIY-ing, in the kitchen or throwing a party, you can usually find me curled up with my husband, a book, and a beer. I started this blog to share recipes, style, home, and entertaining ideas. You can also expect plenty of party planning posts that reflect my super organized nature- I love to know what can be done ahead of time and the best way to plan a menu so things run smoothly and enjoyably, and I’m excited to share my ideas.

Currently, I’m a budget analyst working in Manhattan, and I’m married to the greatest guy on the planet, who I’ll call Mr. B. He’s an auditor who lives for Michigan football, music, and really bad reality TV. We’re living a city lifestyle now, and lucky to be surrounded by friends, though I look forward to the day we’ll have a house near the beach and head to church on Sundays.
